This error is encountered when you are trying to sign in to your OneDrive account. This error can be caused by the following reasons:
Your OneDrive account is not linked to your Microsoft account (which you created in order to download Office apps). Your Microsoft account does not have sufficient privileges to sign in to your OneDrive account.
OneDrive has blocked you from accessing the account due to suspicious activity on your account. This error can be fixed by following the steps mentioned below:
Step 1: First of all, sign in to your Microsoft account.
Step 2: Go to OneDrive page and click on the settings icon in the top right corner.
Step 3: Once you are on the Settings page, click on Personal file storage.
Step 4: On the Personal file storage page, you will see your OneDrive account listed on the right side. Make sure that the account name and email address listed on this page are correct.
Step 5: If the account name and email address listed on the page do not match with your own account name and email address, then you will need to login to your cloud storage account using the link sent by the Microsoft. You can follow this link to login to your cloud storage account if you don’t have a login email or password. Step 6: Once you are on the page that shows your account name and email address, then scroll down to see Personal file storage settings. The settings that you need to change are given in the picture below.
Step 7: Once you have made the necessary changes, then hit Save. You can now close the Settings tab.
Step 8: Now, try accessing your OneDrive account. You will be asked to login, if you are asked for your email or password then enter it. If the user name and password do not match with your account, then there is a bug in Edge, so switch back to Google Chrome and try accessing your account again.
