When your video is removed from TikTok, a message notifying you of the action is sent to you. To file an appeal, find the suspension message in your email and click “Appeal.”

But if it doesn’t work, try this different approach.

  1. Go to your profile after logging into your TikTok account.
  2. Click on the three dots in the top right corner of your profile page.
  3. “Settings and privacy” should be chosen. Select “Report a problem” from the assistance menu.
  4. Here, you’ll find a menu of choices. Pick the specific problem you are having and make your case.

If this approach does not succeed and you need to quickly get your video back up, you may get in touch with their user assistance by email (feedback@tiktok.com) or the TikTok official Twitter account.

To create a secure environment for its other users, TikTok implements a tougher regulation on its users’ accounts. The platform often suspends a user temporarily for breaking a community rule, and when the violation is done again, the user is permanently banned. Before TikTok releases your account for a brief suspension, though, it takes some time.

Depending on the violation committed, TikTok’s temporary ban might last anywhere between 24 and 72 hours and up to seven days. Although you won’t be able to go live due to the suspension, you may still publish videos and use other app functions. When your account is permanently banned, you can no longer access it and your followers, comments, and likes are changed to other characters.

These notes were taken from the TOS and other peoples experiences that we have noted in our research.

Permanently banned TikTok accounts cannot be unbanned at any given moment.
However, it usually takes seven to ten days to hear if you were successful or unsuccessful.

Depending on the type of violation you committed and the response time of TikTok’s support team, account restoration may take some time.

You will quickly receive access to your account if you unintentionally broke any of TikTok’s terms of service.

But if the infraction is serious, it can potentially take more than 10 days to respond.

Your account may not always be restored by TikTok.

Before submitting an appeal or contacting assistance, it is strongly advised that you hold off for two to three days.

This will make it clear that the account is permanently banned rather than being shadowbanned or temporarily suspended.

The following strategy cannot be used until at least 10 days have passed since the account suspension appeal was submitted.
